Sprint Waste Rises to 26th on Waste 100

Sprint Waste Services has been named to the 2015 Waste 100 largest waste and recycling firms in North America, jumping two spots to 26th on the list based on 2014 revenues of $147 million.

Waste 360, an information and services provider to the solid waste, recycling, organics and sustainable communities, releases the Waste 100 rankings each year. Rankings are based on total revenues in the previous calendar year and are determined by financial information provided in annual reports, online sources and via survey.

Sprint Waste first appeared on the list in 2011 at 55th with $23 million and has risen steadily in the ranking since then.

Sprint Waste Services owner and President Will Swinbank said the company is honored to be recognized and rising on this list of waste industry leaders.

“Our company’s success and growth are a fulfillment of the hard work and dedication of our 500-plus employees at 10 locations across the Gulf Coast,” Swinbank said. “We work all day, every day to provide our customers with the capabilities of a national provider and the attention to detail and uncommon customer service of a local, family-owned company.

“We’re humbled not only to be named among the leaders of our industry, but also that our hard work resonates clearly in the marketplace,” he added. “We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and for our customers.”
