Sprint Waste Announces New CEO

Dave Nelson, Sprint Waste Services LP’s director of shared services, has been named the company’s new president and chief executive officer, succeeding partner Will Swinbank. The move allows Swinbank to focus on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and developing and enhancing the company’s culture. Will Swinbank, along with partner Reagan Swinbank, will continue to be involved in the operation of the company.

“Dave’s strong leadership, organizational experience and outstanding contribution since joining Sprint Waste make him the perfect choice for this new role,” Will Swinbank says. “He brings exceptional focus and experience in improving processes, tools and technology to better position our organization for the years ahead. We are convinced Dave will continue to help develop and grow our business while providing excellent leadership and structure.”

Nelson brings to the position more than 25 years of management and operations experience. Prior to joining Sprint Waste Services, he served in senior management positions at companies including Pennzoil–Quaker State, Shell Lubricants and Hewlett Packard.
