Joe Swinbank

Partner, Sprint Waste Services

Joe founded the Sprint Companies with business partner Don Poarch, bringing their shared passion for service and hard work to an underserved construction waste industry. Throughout their 30-plus-year partnership, Joe and Don built, acquired and operated a variety of service-oriented businesses across a wide range of industries. From waste services to sand mining and real estate ventures, the experience they gained from each business helped strategically grow the Sprint Companies and, ultimately, the flagship company, Sprint Waste Services. Today, with sons Will and Reagan at the helm of Sprint Waste Services (Don sold his ownership in 2010), Joe remains active in the direction and strategy of the Sprint family of companies, including Sprint Sand & Clay, Sprint Stabilized Materials, Sprint Transport, and an array of investment and real estate development activities. He also serves as a director of Community Bank. Joe earned his bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University in 1974 and is an active member of the Texas A&M University Association of Former Students. He is also a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and Lakeside Country Club.
